Gina Harris
Gina began singing in church at age four and continued her vocal training through college. She received her BA in Theater at Trinity University and still enjoys attending theater and dance performances. She came to Music Together as a mom with her son and wishes she had known about the program when her daughter was little! After a year as a MT mom, Gina completed her teacher training and began teaching in 2004. She especially enjoys finding new ways to play with music and watching her students grow musically. Update! In March 2008 Gina took her Certification Level 1 here in San Diego and passed with flying colors. Way to go Gina! |

Heather Robert
As a Music Together mom, Heather saw the fun and joy that the Music Together experience brought into her home—not only for her and her now four-year-old daughter, but for her husband and tough-to-please middle-school-aged daughters as well. ¬Heather looks forward to combining her love of children, music and acting silly into a vocation as a Music Together teacher and is excited to share her enthusiasm with new and returning Music Together families. Heather has a B.A. in Religious Studies and Political Science from Trinity University and when she’s not dancing and singing, she likes to keep herself occupied with yoga and creative writing |

James Miles
James is the director of the La Jolla Children's Choir and has been teaching in San Diego County since 1993. He was the music director for six years at La Mesa First United Methodist Church, guest conducted for the Grossmonth College Master Chorale, and directed the Hillcrest Wind Ensemble, Fallbrook Master Chorale, and the Fallbrook Lamplighters, as well as the San Diego Wind Ensemble for their inaugural CD. James earned his Master's Degree in Conducting at San Diego State University and was inducted into the Pi Kappa Lambda Honorary Music Fraternity. He has performed with the San Diego Master Chorale and the a capella group Sound Art as a tenor, and continues to concertize on flute whenever possible. James was first introduced to Music Together when his wife attended classes with their two children at the Point Loma location. He was drawn to the connection the teacher had established with her students, and the fun play that the learning environment was fostering. Although he loves teaching academic music to his adults and teens he felt that he could make an even bigger impact working with families and young children. He did his teacher training for Music Together in Nashville and knew that he had found what he had been looking for. He continues to be the music director at the Bonita Country Day School and is looking forward to starting his classes with Music Together in January.
